The Alliance Indiegogo Funded and Finished

I know everyone has seen a barrage of Indiegogo campaign posts—I am sincerely sorry for the Indie overload—but I’m proud to say the campaign was fully funded. The campaign has also finished the month long crusade, so now I can make moves towards publication this fall. This also means I have more insight to share with you all via blog posts and Twitter.

First, thank you to all the awesome people who either shared or contributed to my Alliance YA series campaign. I’ll post occasional updates on the campaign page when I have dates for cover reveals and such. I will be keeping my contributors informed on the process because the series is getting a second chance thanks to all of their support. I’m very grateful for this opportunity and excited to share my journey.

Second, I have lots of steps to take before the books are published, but I am excited to get the ball rolling. The two novels are going through editing stages now. I’ll be in communications with the cover designer soon and formatting shouldn’t take too long. I created a plan of action before starting the Indiegogo, and I can share my initial plan for those interested in creating a campaign of their own. Right now my plan is scribbled in a notebook, but I’ll try to get it typed up soon.

Thank you all again, and I’ll try to have an informative post up at the beginning of the week. Stay tuned!

Publishing Update

The Alliance: Bloodlines was formatted and submitted to CreateSpace.  Now I must wait on the proof copy to be shipped so we can check for any issues. I’ve had several people asking questions so I thought I’d address those here too.

I’ve had a lot of people asking about autographed copies, but I don’t have that detail worked out yet. I’ll make a post once I figure it all out. This is my first adventure into self-publishing (any publishing ha!) so everything is a learning process.

The release date will be sometime in December, but I don’t have a specific date yet. The book will be available in both paperback and eBook through Amazon & CreateSpace.

Bloodlines will be available for North America and Europe, but I will look into expanding that after the release.

The site is currently under construction, but some amazing art is coming so stay tuned! Hope I covered all of your questions and thanks again for your support! ❤

Project Updates

Hi everyone! I’ve been slow to give updates, but I wanted to assure everyone that I am hard at work. I’ve been experiencing technical difficulties because it seems that I am an internet killer. Everywhere I go, the internet just randomly stops working. You can just call me Galactus, Destroyer of Internets.

I’ve spent my abundance of offline time working on my new novel which is currently untitled, but I hope to have more info to give in the next two months. I dedicate time to work  every night/morning before bed. I find that my brain creates the best ideas in the very late night hours leading in to early mornings. I won’t elaborate on the details, but I will say that it is an urban fantasy YA novel that focuses on a very diverse group that includes gay and lesbian characters.

The Alliance:Bloodlines novel is in a holding pattern while I get a few things in order before taking the route of self publication. I’ve also been creating digital portraits of many Alliance characters and I hope to share those with everyone soon. I’d like to be able to post one portrait a week, but they are taking quite a while to complete. I am new to digital painting so I am probably doing things the hard way, but also learning different techniques and progress is going a little faster now.

I’m still working on a few comic book projects which are now going into the art stages. One is my own creator owned project, which is a zombie horror/survival genre mixed with a little fantasy.  I hope to have some art work to show you soon!

So please stay tuned for more information and if you have any questions please feel free to ask!
